FOXS is sponsoring its Third Annual Junked Bike Art Competition as part of the 2016 Xenia Community Festival.

Take an unused, old bike and turn it into a fun, quirky, fancy, beautiful, fascinating piece of art! Artists of all ages may participate and works may be submitted as an individual or as a group.

These bikes will be displayed during the festival, where festival goers will vote for their favorite work of art. Your bike could win the Grand Prize of $100 for Best of Show! First, Second, and Third place winners all receive a one-year FOXS membership. Winners will be announced during Saturday's festivities.

Works may include any weatherproof medium. Remember that these will be displayed outside. Finished bikes do not have to be functional.

Artists may be of any age. Group submissions are welcomed.

FOXS reserves the right to refuse to exhibit any work deemed unsuitable for this project. All works must be "family friendly".

Interested persons need to submit an “Intent to Participate” form with the required $10 entry fee for each submission by September 2, 2016. The form can be downloaded by clicking the link below or you can pick one up at any of the events FOXS will be participating in this year.

Bring your finished bikes to the display area by the Armory at Shawnee Park on Friday, September 16 between noon and 3:00 PM. If you need to make other arrangements for delivery, please contact FOXS at (937) 376-1080 or info@xeniastation.org.
